Businesses Choosing Private Health Insurance Over Government Option

The government option for health insurance has its pros and cons, but businesses are noticing that private health insurance could be the better choice.  The article by Jamie L. Brockway, “Business Owners See Value of Private Health Plans Over Government Option” on ifawebnews.com talks about what challenges business owners face as they make this decision.

Most independent business owners are not planning on purchasing health insurance from the government and a big part of this is because of their disagreement over health care reform in general.  About 88% of business owners do not think it’s right for the government to require health insurance coverage under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), based on a survey by the Small Business Authority.  The survey concluded that 91% of business owners have no plan to buy health insurance from the government, but rather remain in the private sector.

Barry Sloane, chairman, president and CEO of the Small Business Authority, a national business service company, believes this may be in part due to their belief that the government will not eliminate the private sector and there will be sufficient health insurance options for small businesses.  Sloane points out that 9% of business owners plan on buying the government insurance because they believe it will take over the private sector.  The survey, which was based on a poll of 1000 independent business owners, also shows that about 53% of participants believe the cost of major medical insurance quotes is to increase over the next two years.

Make Easy Money with Content Lockers and Fake Downloads

Before we begin, you are probably wondering why the title says “Fake Downloads”? Well, the easy answer is because it is much easier to make money when your site doesn’t get shut down and you aren’t infringing upon any copyrights.

With that said, let’s begin.

Go to Blogger and create a new blog that is keyword high. Keyword density is everything when you are using Blogger. For example, if you are offering downloads you might want to make your subdomain something like “free-downloads.blogger.com” or “free-nulled-downloads.blogger.com”.

It’s always best to use a keyword or keywords that people would use when they are doing a search. Imagine that you are in the users “shoes” and you are searching for that download or downloads. So whatever you would place in the search bar, make that your subdomain.

Now that you have your Blogger blog in place, create a new post. Inside the post, you are going to want to place the content that is in the sales page. However, due to Google’s new algorithm’s, even copied content is considered “stealing”. So you are going to want to copy that content and auto spin it using http://www.freearticlespinner.com/

When you have your spun content, you can now place it in your Blogger post content area.

You are going to want to make your title appealing and keywor heavy as well. A good way to get a lot of hits is by including “[GET]” at the beginning of the title. This is used often in forums, which simply means that this particular software or download is available. When people see “[GET]“, they immediately recognize that this means that the download that they want is available.

Within the post, you will want to create a link. All you have to do is link back to the items sales page. The link simply makes your post look like its the “REAL DEAL” and not just some fake RSS post or something.

So…how do you make money from this?

Well, it will generate traffic. With traffic, you are able to monetize with unlimited methods.

The best way that I have found to monetize with this method is to use a content locker. Content Lockers simply lock the content from being accessed until a given action is complete. So in this aspect, you would setup a content locker with your CPA offers. Once they complete a CPA offer, then the content will show and they are able to click on the link for their “download”.

Why does this work???

Because people always want what is free! And people will do just about anything they can do get things that are free. This includes filling out a simply survey or email submit offer to get to the download link.

That’s it! Now, you should expect anywhere from 20-40 visits per day with this. Do this 5 times a day and thats almost 200 hits per day that multiplies each day you do it. So within a week, you should have over 1,000 hits per day going to your content locked pages!

In regards to the content locker, this gets a little tricky and I may post an article on this at a later time.

You can download a Blogger content locker here:

Or simply do a search for “Blogger Content Locker”

Florida Health Insurance Enrollment Down

Florida health insurance has experienced another drop in enrollment for commercial policies according to the article “Health Insurance Coverage Continues to Drop in Florida” found on OrlandoSentinel.com.  Commercial policies include individual health insurance as well as small group policies.  This drop is unfortunate, but not too much of a surprise since economic times continue to be tough through the state and many residents are choosing to forego their health insurance coverage.

An annual market report was released earlier this week by the Florida Health Care Insurance Advisory Board which shows enrollment dropped by 4.3% during 2010.  This happens to be the fifth year in a row enrollment has dropped.  It dropped overall from 4.5 million people in 2006 to 3.7 million in 2010.  The report points out that this could be a reflection of the tough times many residents are facing as the economic downturn continues.

Unfortunately, enrollment under the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act increased by 30% in 2010 showing that Florida is particularly struggling.  This coverage is offered to those who have no other health care options and it was used by 100,790 people in 2010.  As health care reform gets closer to a reality, it will be interesting to see how the trend continues in Florida.

Michigan Health Insurance Possibly Giving Rebates

Based on a federal health regulators ruling made earlier this week, about 340,000 Michigan residents who purchase their own individual health insurance could get as much as $89 million in rebates over the next 3 years.  This comes after federal health regulators turned down Michigan’s request to be exempted from the new health care bill requirements.

The article “Health Insurance Providers Told to Repay Michigan Consumers” by Patricia Anstett on Freep.com says that health insurance companies who sell individual plans must spend at least $.80 of every dollar earned from premiums on medical care and no more than $.20 on salaries and other administrative costs.  Many insurers are finding this very challenging and are looking for a way out.

By August, these insurance companies will be ordered to give consumers either a rebate check or a credit towards future products if their spending does not meet the 80/20 rule implemented by the new health care bill.  Many insurers are going to find this very difficult and some will consider it next to impossible.  Michigan health insurance could be facing some big changes as these new requirements go into effect.  It’s possible the state will continue fighting to ensure they are not forced to do anything they do not agree with.  Health care reform still has many battles ahead to face.
